Carrasco and the Evan Bros Racing Yamaha Team at Jerez to chase ‘the goal’

Last round of the historic first season of the Women's World Championship, with Ana Carrasco and the Evan Bros Racing Yamaha Team more motivated than ever. After five rounds full of spectacle and excitement in fact Ana arrives at Jerez de la Frontera as championship leader (208 points), 18 points ahead of Herrera and 42 ahead of Sanchez.

Needless to explain what the team and rider's objective is, for which it will be necessary to maintain concentration in every single session of the weekend. Carrasco has sweet memories at the Andalusian track, including three podiums in Supersport300, and is now aiming to create new ones, after taking a win and a second place in the last round at Estoril.

The weekend will start with a single free practice session on Friday morning, which will be followed by Superpole in the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday will be time for the two races, both at 11.50 CET and over a distance of 11 laps. The Superpole and the two races will be broadcast live on the championship's Youtube channel (@WorldWCR).

Ana Carrasco
“After the great weekend I had at Estoril I am looking forward to being at Jerez. I really like the track and I know it well as I have raced there many races in the past, even taking some podiums in Supersport300, so I think it will be a good weekend. Also racing at home, in front of all the fans, I think it will be really special. Me and the team will try to keep working as we have done in the last few races, enjoying the weekend and trying to be ready to fight for the win in both races”.

Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
“We are very happy to arrive at the last round of the season in first position in the overall standings, with 18 points over our first rival. Ana has shown in the last rounds that she is determined and at the same time calm and focused. We will try to live the weekend in the best possible way, with the desire to reach our final goal”.
