Can Oncu
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
The historic Estoril circuit is ready to open its doors to the World Supersport Championship for the penultimate round of its 2025 season. The Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team arrives in Portugal highly motivated and with clear objectives.
Can Oncu can count on a streak of seven consecutive podiums, but above all on his return to victory in Race 2 at Aragon. The Turkish rider is currently second in the overall standings, with 60 points to make up on leader Manzi.
Alberto Surra will once again share the box with Oncu. Aldi Mahendra's recovery is continuing smoothly, but after his last medical consultation, the Indonesian rider was advised to postpone his return to the track to allow for a full recovery. Surra will therefore compete in his third consecutive round with Evan Bros, with whom he has already achieved one podium and a total of three top ten finishes.
In the team standings, Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros occupies first place with 423 points, 41 more than its closest rival. As a result, the Ravenna-based team will have its first match point to win the team title in Portugal: to do so, Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team would need to extend its lead by at least 50 points at the end of the weekend.
As usual, the weekend will kick off on Friday morning with the only free practice session available, while in the afternoon it will already be time for Superpole. Race 1 and Race 2 will take place on Saturday and Sunday, both at 12.35 CET.

Can Oncu
"Last year things didn't go well for me at Estoril, so this weekend I'll be racing as if it were my first time in Portugal. As always, the goal is to have fun and achieve significant results. I want to help the team in the team standings and, of course, keep this season uncertain until the end”.
Alberto Surra
“I am very happy to be racing again with the Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team. I am convinced that there will be growth both in terms of confidence on the bike and working together with the team. I am excited and can't wait to get back on track”.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
“A new weekend awaits us. As for Aldi, the doctors have advised him to wait before returning with us, but he will already be testing a 300cc bike this week. Consequently, Surra will still be in his place, and I am very confident about the results he can achieve. Oncu arrives at Estoril after a fantastic weekend, and we want to confirm that level of performance. He has demonstrated speed and intelligence throughout the year, so I expect another great weekend. As a team, the goal is to collect points for the team title, which would be a great achievement”.
