Can Oncu

Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)

The Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros returns to the track: it's time for new challenges in Aragon

The third-to-last round of the 2025 season is just around the corner for the Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team, which will be competing this weekend in Aragon. With its 5.077 kilometers and 17 turns, Motorland is a track that should not be underestimated, capable of producing some very competitive races.

Can Oncu arrives at Aragon in excellent form. In the last round at Magny-Cours, the Turkish rider took two excellent 2nd places, fighting to the end for victory in both cases. Can's speed is now beyond question, and the goal is to keep the world title race open until the end. Oncu is currently 2nd in the overall standings, 69 points behind the leader Manzi.

There is great curiosity surrounding Alberto Surra, in his second outing with Evan Bros. Alberto made a spectacular debut in France, with a podium finish in Race 1, so now the target is to confirm his place among the fastest riders in the category. Surra arrives in Aragon in high spirits, thanks to his success last weekend in the JuniorGP Moto2 class at Misano.

As usual, the weekend will kick off on Friday morning with the only free practice session available, while in the afternoon it will already be time for Superpole. Race 1 and Race 2 will take place on Saturday and Sunday, both at 12.35 CET.

Can Oncu

“I'm ready for this new race weekend. We've learned from what happened in France, and I hope that in Aragon we can take another step forward: as always, I have total confidence in the team's work. We want to keep the title race open, because in motorcycling anything can happen”.

Alberto Surra

“I'm really happy to race also in Aragon with the team. I've never raced at Aragon with a Supersport bike, but I like the track, and I'm sure that together with the team I'll quickly find the optimal setup. I'm very excited, thanks in part to the victory at Misano, so I can't wait to start”.

Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)

"Aragon is a beautiful track. We go there aware that 69 points behind the leader is a lot, but at the same time we want to continue to be fast, thanks in part to the collaboration between Can and Alberto, who immediately established a good relationship. As a team, it will be important to score as many points as possible in the team standings”.
