Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)

At the start, Debise got off to a good start from sixth on the grid, finishing the first lap in P5. The French rider immediately set his sights on the front-runners, taking the lead on the eighth lap. In the second half of the race, Valentin defended his lead perfectly, going on to take the win. This is Debise’s fourth victory of the season.
Caricasulo, however, had a difficult start and found himself in 14th place at the end of the first lap. As the race progressed, Federico fought his way back up to 10th place, only to lose two positions in the final two laps and finish the race in 12th place, still securing points for the standings.
Tomorrow, the EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory team will be back on track for Race 2, which starts at 14 CET and will run over 19 laps. Based on the top nine fastest times from Race 1, Debise will start from pole position, whilst Caricasulo from P11.
Valentin Debise
“I struggled a bit at the start of the race, as I’d been having a bit of trouble with the new tyres since yesterday, but I knew I’d be quick in the second half so I waited for my moment to attack. Some of my rivals got a bit mixed up and I took advantage of that to move into the lead, then set my own pace right to the end: it wasn’t easy but I managed to fend off attacks on the final lap and secure this fantastic victory. I’d like to thank ZXMOTO and Evan Bros for the great work they’ve done for me; I’m really happy with this latest success. I hope to have fun again tomorrow”.
Federico Caricasulo
“It was a productive day, even though I was hoping for a bit more in terms of results. I haven’t found the perfect setup yet, so there’s work to be done, but we have another race tomorrow and we’ll try to be ready”.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
“I’m really pleased with this latest victory, which once again rewards us for all the hard work we’ve put in over the past few months. Valentin did a race that was both smart and fast, managing to build up that crucial lead in the closing stages to avoid taking any risks. Federico is improving step by step and deserved more today, but races are unpredictable. Tomorrow we’ll be going in search of more success”.
