Evan Bros Racing announces the end of its partnership with Yamaha Motor Europe

Evan Bros Racing announces the end of an important chapter in its history. The conclusion of the 2025 Supersport World Championship also marked the end of the partnership between Evan Bros Racing and Yamaha Motor Europe: a partnership full of success and satisfaction.

Evan Bros and Yamaha Motor Europe joined forces in 2018, when the Ravenna-based team chose the YZF-R6, entrusting it to Randy Krummenacher: the partnership between Evan Bros and Yamaha immediately proved its worth, with Krummenacher securing one victory, three podium finishes and fourth place in the final championship standings.

After a first season of running-in, Evan Bros and Yamaha won the riders' and team titles in 2019, at the end of a season dominated by the two Ravenna-based team riders Krummenacher and Federico Caricasulo. Together, the two riders achieved seven victories and 10 podium finishes, with only six points separating World Champion Krummenacher from runner-up Caricasulo.

The Evan Bros and Yamaha fairytale continued in 2020, with Andrea Locatelli winning the riders' title, dominating the season with a record - breaking haul of 12 wins and 13 podiums in total. In 2021 and 2022, Evan Bros and Yamaha remained a benchmark duo in the category, finishing second in the riders' world championship, first with Steven Odendaal and then with Lorenzo Baldassarri.

After a difficult 2023, Evan Bros and Yamaha returned to the spotlight in 2024, the last season of the fantastic YZF-R6. Together with Valentin Debise, Evan Bros and Yamaha secured seven podium finishes and fourth place in the riders’ championship.

2025 was a turning point for Yamaha, with the YZF-R9 entering WorldSSP and immediately winning with Evan Bros. At the end of the year, Evan Bros won the teams’ title thanks to Oncu's six victories, 17 podiums in total and the points scored throughout the season by Oncu – runner-up in the world championship at the end of the year – Aldi Mahendra and Alberto Surra.

In eight years of fruitful collaboration, Evan Bros and Yamaha have won two rider titles, two teams’ titles and six manufacturer titles together. Added to these successes is the rider title won by Evan Bros and Ana Carrasco in the first historic edition - 2024 - of the Women's World Championship: a championship entirely equipped by Yamaha with its YZF-R7.

Evan Bros Racing would therefore like to express its heartfelt thanks to Yamaha Motor Europe for the support received over these wonderful eight years, wishing them a prosperous and rewarding future.
