Prima giornata di azione per lo EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory a Cremona, con diverse info utili raccolte e tanta voglia di migliorare. Nella Superpole Valentin Debise ha colto l’ottava posizione, mentre Federico Caricasulo si è dovuto accontentare della 24° piazza.
In mattinata i due piloti dello EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory sono scesi in pista per il consueto turno di prove libere. Per Caricasulo l’inizio è stato ottimo grazie al 2° posto, con un totale di 15 giri effettuati, mentre Debise ha ottenuto la 9° posizione con 16 giri totali.
Nel pomeriggio è arrivato il momento della Superpole, per decretare la griglia di Gara 1. In una sessione contraddistinta da distacchi minimi, Debise è stato protagonista ottenendo la P8, ad un solo decimo dalla top five. Meno positivo il pomeriggio di Caricasulo, solamente 24° dopo alcune difficoltà inaspettate ed un piccolo problema tecnico nel finale.
Conclusa la prima giornata di lavoro, domani andrà in scena la prima manche del fine settimana. Alle ore 14 CET si spegneranno i semafori di Gara 1, che si disputerà distanza di 20 giri. La corsa sarà visibile live su Sky Sport MotoGP, canale 208.

“E’ stata una prima giornata certamente impegnativa, ma sono contento del lavoro svolto con la squadra. In Superpole c’era il potenziale per ottenere anche qualcosa in più, ma le cose non sempre vanno come sperato e va bene così. Dall’ottava posizione si può certamente fare una bella gara, ed è quello che cercherò di fare”.

“Sono dispiaciuto per l’esito di questa giornata, dato che sin dalle prove libere ho dimostrato di essere veloce, ma purtroppo in Superpole ho avuto più difficoltà del previsto, ed il problema tecnico nel finale certamente non ha agevolato la situazione. Domani dovrò cercare di rimontare, spinto anche dai tanti amici che saranno qui a Cremona per sostenerci”.
The first day of action for the EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory team in Cremona, with a lot of useful data and a strong desire to improve. In the Superpole, Valentin Debise secured eighth place, whilst Federico Caricasulo had to settle for 24th.
In the morning the two EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory riders took to the track for the usual free practice session. Caricasulo got off to an excellent start, securing 2nd place after completing a total of 15 laps, whilst Debise finished 9th with 16 laps in total.
In the afternoon, it was time for Superpole to determine the grid for Race 1. In a session characterised by minimal gaps, Debise was once again one of the protagonists securing P8, just one tenth of a second off the top five. Caricasulo’s afternoon was less positive, finishing only 24th after encountering some unexpected difficulties and a minor technical issue in the final stages.
With the first day of working now over, the first race of the weekend will take place tomorrow. At 14.00 CET the lights will go out for Race 1, which will be contested over 20 laps.

“It was certainly a challenging first day, but I’m pleased with the work we’ve done as a team. In Superpole we had the potential to achieve even more, but things don’t always go as hoped, and that’s fine. Starting from eighth on the grid we can certainly put in a good race, and that’s what I’ll be aiming to do”.

“I’m disappointed with how the day went, as I’d shown I was quick right from free practice, but unfortunately I struggled more than expected in Superpole, and the technical problem towards the end certainly didn’t help. Tomorrow I’ll have to try and fight my way back up the field, pushed by the many friends who’ll be here in Cremona to support us”.
